Alan L. Hull, MD, PhD, professor of medicine is the associate dean for curricular affairs in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University; director of the Cleveland Clinic Center for Medical Education Research and Development; and Jones Day Endowed Chair in Medical Education. Since 1979, when he earned a PhD in education at The University of Michigan, he has been on the faculties at The University of Michigan and Case Western Reserve University Schools of Medicine, focusing on medical education curriculum development and evaluation. He earned an MD from CWRU in 1996 and completed his internal medicine training in 1998 and he was appointed as a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic in 1998.
Dr. Hull practices internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic. He also has responsibility for coordinating Cleveland Clinic education activities conducted as part of the medical school program as well as to work with faculty to develop, implement and evaluate research and education courses offered by Cleveland Clinic designed to improve clinical research and education at the institution.
