ASSOCIATE DEAN FOR NURSING ACADEMIC AFFAIRS

The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing is undertaking a national search for an Associate Dean for Nursing Academic Affairs.

Join us in our exciting initiative to develop leaders in a changing health care environment. We seek a visionary nurse leader with demonstrated academic leadership and administrative experience for the position of Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA). The ADAA is responsible for leadership and oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of outstanding academic programs in the FPB SON, and is responsible for student services, the Center for Nursing Education, Simulation and Innovation, and faculty development.

PEDIATRIC FACULTY

We are seeking to fill full- and part-time pediatric nursing faculty positions. The position includes didactic and clinical teaching, student mentoring, participation in scholarly activities and involvement in university and community service. An Ohio license, MSN degree and two years of clinical experience as an RN in the State of Ohio are required as is previous experience in pediatrics; an earned doctorate in nursing is preferred.


PSYCHIATRIC/MENTAL HEALTH FACULTY

We are seeking to fill full- and part-time psychiatric/mental health faculty positions. The position includes didactic and clinical teaching, student mentoring, participation in scholarly activity and involvement in university and community service. Ohio license, MSN degree and two years of clinical experience as an RN in the State of Ohio are required as is previous experience in psych/mental health; earned doctorate in nursing is preferred.


TENURED/TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITIONS

We invite applications for a tenure-eligible faculty position with a strong record of externally funded research, peer-reviewed publications, and evidence of mentorship experience. Candidates must also demonstrate an established reputation, whether as individual investigators or within a research team, for original ideas, innovations and contributions. A high level of teaching effectiveness and service contributions is also required. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

NON-TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITIONS

We are seeking faculty with a commitment to the dissemination of new knowledge to support nursing practice and education. To be qualified, the applicant must have at least a master’s degree in nursing, be eligible for a registered nursing license in Ohio and must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience in the United States. We encourage applications from individuals from minority and culturally diverse groups.

Lecturer – Special Faculty (Non-Tenure)

  • Responsibilities
    • Clinical and/or theoretical instruction in baccalaureate and master’s programs
  • Qualifications 
    • Graduate degree in nursing or related field. Clinical competence in a nursing specialty area required for selected positions. Evidence of competence in teaching and recognized professional expertise and leadership required.
