The Callahan Family Emergency and Critical Care Transport Center and the Dorothy Ebersbach Academic Center for Flight Nursing collaboratively specialize in preparing the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for the critical care transport environment. Entering the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program will give you the opportunity to obtain an additional certificate in the transport environment. The unique program provides additional critical care opportunities for managing adult and pediatric acute medical and traumatic events. A post-masters certificate is also available in pediatric acute care.
In this program you will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to function independently, using structured protocols, in out-of-hospital transport environments. Additionally, as a student in this one-of-a-kind program, you will have access to all the cutting-edge technology offered at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.
