This workshop is sponsored by the SMART Center, in collaboration with the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center and the Cleveland Sight Center.
Most researchers are surprised to learn that they are omitting a significant minority group from their research – people with disabilities! This workshop is designed for researchers to learn about:
- Why to include persons with disabilities in research
- How to include persons with disabilities within a project budget
- How to modify research methods for participants with visual and hearing challenges
Admission is free. Light refreshments will be available.
If you are interested in attending this event, please contact Heather C. Terry to RSVP.
The SMART Center and FIND Lab are federally funded by a grant from the National Institute for Nursing Research, NIH.
