North Star Initiatives

About

Guided by the Think Big strategic plan and the university's North Star, the Office of the Provost is undertaking a number of initiatives to support Case Western Reserve University's mission and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. To aid in the that effort, the university is partnering with Black and minority serving institutions to share ideas and resources as a group.


Initiatives

North Star Award for Graduate Students

The Graduate Student North Star Award is a tuition discount program for students who matriculate from North Star Consortium member universities. The award covers 30%-50% of tuition to more than 40 graduate programs across Case Western Reserve University.

North Star Public Health Initiative

Case Western Reserve's North Star Public Health Initiative is a collaborative effort to increase COVID-19 vaccinations and improve health outcomes in underserved communities.
