Crime: Aggravated Assault
This incident occurred off campus but because of the proximity to the university, campus police would like the campus community to be aware.
Location of incident: 2207 Murray Hill Rd.
Date of Incident: 05/12/2019
Time of Incident: 03:05 am
Incident Description: A male student was walking westbound on Murray Hill Rd. when a male approached him from behind and hit him on the back with a baseball bat. The Student sustained bruising on his back, but declined medical attention.
Suspect(s) Description: The suspect was a male with the height between 5'8 and 5'10. the male was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
Additional information: The suspect fled eastbound on Murray Hill Rd. towards Edgehill Rd.
