January Session 2021

Classes in this session are 1/8/2021 - 1/29/2021 for Undergraduate and Graduate career courses, with no classes Monday, January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Some professional schools may offer January classes.  See Enrollment Dates and Deadlines for more information.

Yes, the 3-week January session is a part of the Spring 2021 term.

You can begin registering for classes in the January session the same time as the rest of the Spring 2021 term. Find your specific start date on When Can I Register?.

From Class Search and Enroll, select the Spring 2021 term.  On the left, click Additional Search Filters, then scroll down to the Session filter.  Click Session to expand the section, then select Regular Term - 3 week.  Spring 2021 classes will appear in the search results as departments finalize their schedules.  Spring 2021 classes should start appearing by November 1.

Undergraduate and Graduate Studies students can take up to 4 credit hours in the January session.

Yes. Credit hours taken in the January session will count towards the total number of credit hours permitted in the Spring 2021 term.

Classes scheduled in the January session will have a drop/add date of January 12, 2021. See Enrollment Dates and Deadlines for more information. 

Enrollment for the Spring 2021 term can be verified after February 12, 2021.

As January session courses are a part of the Spring 2021 term, incomplete grades issued for a January session course must be completed by your school's posted deadline for completion of Spring 2021 incomplete grades.
