Poster Review Group Consultation

Students must bring a poster draft in Powerpoint format on a flash drive to the review group, which will be conducted as a group critique. Prior to this session, students should either have attended a poster design session OR review the Research Guide: https://researchguides.case.edu/posterdesign/.


Preparing for Intersections: Improving Presentation Skills and How to Make a Poster

Conducted by Jennifer DeSantis, Assistant Director of Academic Resources and Student Advancement

Focusing on both verbal and non-verbal communication learn how to effectively communicate ideas, findings, arguments, and points of view in an academic setting. The session also will provide information about making an effective poster. 


Elevator Pitch Workshop

Conducted by William Doll and Barbara Burgess-Van Aken, Department of English, and Sarah de Swart, Faculty Development Office

Students learn how to explain a complex research project in a cogent and succinct one-minute recap, to develop strategies for answering questions and more!
