Offered Virtually!  This 50-minute information session provides you with the basic information for finding research on and around CWRU during the academic year and provides some guidance for students looking for summer research.  Students need to attend only one of these sessions.

The Graduate School Admission Process in STEM Fields: Organizing for Success 

Offered Virtually!  This workshop will provide the basics of the graduate admissions process.  In addition, participants will learn about the various application materials that are a part of the graduate application packet.  The goal of this workshop is to give its participants the knowledge, skills, and tools to successfully gain admission into competitive graduate programs.

Need tips for your Intersections and class presentations in video format? This workshop is for you! 

Led by Drs. Bill Doll, Barbara Burgess-Van Aken, and Sarah DeSwart, this session offers valuable advice on: 

  • Explaining a complex research project cogently and succinctly
  • Maximizing the potential of the video format
  • Strategies for answering questions about their research

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)

Conducted each Fall semester.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), a 4-part seminar series focused on research ethics for undergraduate researchers:

  1. Laboratory Safety 
  2. Communication & Collaboration 
  3. Humans & Animals 
  4. Data Management 

Certificate of Completion is awarded for completing all four sessions. RCR is co-sponsored by the Office of Research Administration and SOURCE. These sessions are held each Fall semester.
