Anne Marie Kollander, BA

An executive nonprofit management professional, she enjoys a highly successful track record in building relationships with donors, establishing effective business strategy and implementing processes and procedures to enhance organizational performance. She spent fifteen years in the nonprofit field, where she has led and coached development staff in charitable giving, donor relations, donor communications, and building awareness with potential donors and community leaders.

Prior to joining the Mandel School, Kollander served as the Director of Advancement at Hershey Montessori School. She has held senior development positions at the Cleveland Foundation, University Hospitals, and Hopewell.

Kollander has also worked as an independent nonprofit management consultant for her own company, Taosandia, for several years. In addition to her non-profit experience, she has 20 years’ experience as a business owner and partner as Chief Operating Officer of Kollander World Travel.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Kollander has deep roots in her hometown. She has served on the boards and committees of several area organizations, including the Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center, UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Circle of Friends, The Chagrin Valley Professional Horsemen’s Association Leg Up for Cleveland’s Kids (LUCK), and on the Union Club of Cleveland’s Engaging Women Committee.

Kollander graduated from Case Western Reserve University, where she studied Psychology and Business. Married with two grown children, she is also an avid equestrian, enjoys dog agility with her dog Bodhi, and practices yoga and meditation.
