Prior to being a Field Faculty Advisor with the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, I most recently worked as an academic advisor with the University of Southern California’s virtual MSW program. I’ve also worked with children and families in multiple capacities, including wraparound (as both a care coordinator and program manager), juvenile restorative justice, and multiple family court systems. While working with a Community Mental Health agency, I advocated for mental health parity and consumer rights, and raised mental health awareness by organizing/managing community education events. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology/anthropology from Olivet College (Olivet, MI) and a Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI) focusing on organizational and community practice, while also earning the Change at Childhood certificate in child and family advocacy.
