Kathi Overmier Gant is a Field Faculty Advisor and Clinical Instructor at the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Case Western Reserve University. She teaches Direct Practice Methods (SASS 477) and Problem Identification, Assessment and Diagnosis, SASS 547) at the Mandel School. In addition to her work in field education and teaching she serves on several committees at the school. She has over 30 years experience in the field of social work working with adults and adolescents, individuals, families, and couples, in various settings including: private practice, hospital based social work, and inpatient psychiatric treatment units. Kathi obtained her BA in Psychology from Ohio University and her MSSA from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. She is an LISW with a Supervision designation.
