Before coming to the Center for Evidence-Based Practices at Case Western Reserve University, Stephanie Lagalo worked at the Western Michigan University School of Social Work as the Director of Field Education. She is an Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Michigan (Clinical and Macro practice) and Ohio. She is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). Stephanie has served as both a practitioner and consultant throughout her career. She has over nineteen years of experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Stephanie has extensive experience in Assertive Community Treatment, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment, and Motivational Interviewing. Stephanie has spent the majority of her career working at all levels of non-profit organizations – from case manager to clinical supervisor to clinical director.
