Valerie Rambin manages all aspects of the faculty-led study abroad courses at the Mandel School, and supports students and faculty before, during, and after their study abroad experience. Valerie also organizes programming for International Education Week and oversees the international visiting scholars program at the Mandel School. Since 2003, Valerie has worked in international education and higher education. She has held positions in teaching English as a second language, residence life, admissions, college access, study abroad, international programming, international student advising.

Valerie holds a Bachelors of Arts in Foreign Language and International Affairs in Japanese from the University of Puget Sound and a Masters of Arts in Education in Leadership in Higher Education from Baldwin-Wallace University. Prior to receiving her master's degree, Valerie spent five years living and working in Japan.
