Opioid use, misuse, and addiction have been widely spotlighted in the media, often focused on the “heroin epidemic” in Northeast Ohio and neighboring regions of the United States. Three PhD students in the CWRU Department of Anthropology who study opioid use in Northeast Ohio will lead a roundtable discussion about the cultural and social landscape of this timely and significant medical and public health topic. Students from all departments are welcome to attend.
This event is sponsored by the CWRU Graduate Society of Medical Humanities.
Lunch will be served
