Come meet recent graduates and hear them talk about strategies and tips for getting your first job and launching your social work career on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Noble Commons at the Mandel School. Food and beverages will be provided and 2 PD hours are available.
The panel will include:
Christie Sozio, MSSA, is the Youth Engagement Associate for A Place 4 Me, an initiative to prevent and end youth homelessness. She previously served a short-term role as a curriculum developer for a non-profit organization in Honduras.
Andrew Katusin, MSSA, is Director of Basic Needs at United Way of Greater Cleveland. His journey since graduation has allowed him to be a team leader, relationship builder, program manager, community advocate, data analyst and strategic planner.
Caitlin Hawkins, MSSA, MNO, is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant at the Diversity Center of Greater Cleveland. She works with organizations and major corporations through every step of the consulting process.
Jessica Kayse, MSSA, is Manager, Resident Engagement at Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, where she leads the creation of CAC’s resident engagement strategy and manages day-to-day activities that better connect CAC with residents of Cuyahoga County. She has also spent time in international mission, youth and community development in multiple countries.
Sruti Basu, MSSA, PhD, is Director of Community Building Programs at FutureHeights, a civic engagement organization in Cleveland Heights that is evolving into a community development corporation. Prior to that she was Foundation Services Manager at the Greater Houston Community Foundation.
