In 2005, LMM began administering the Men’s Shelter at 2100 Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland. The shelter serves up to 365 men per night with additional beds available at partner overflow sites. Referrals come from the Cuyahoga County Coordinated Intake and Assessment process. At the shelter, social service partners provide on and off-site services to increase resident self-sufficiency. The staff works with individuals to end their homelessness by finding appropriate housing as soon as possible. There are six shelter communities to meet the specific needs of men in crisis.
