Bring your lunch to hear Professor David Crampton discuss Realist Reviews.
Realist reviews are gaining in popularity in the United Kingdom and Europe (Pawson, 2006). In contrast with systemic reviews, realist reviews explore how programs work rather than whether they work. Family Group Decision Making is a practice used throughout the world, but the evidence of FGDM is highly contested (Crampton, 2007). This review contributes to that debate as well as recent discussions of evidence-based practice.
