The Mandel School is proud to celebrate International Education Week (IEW), Nov. 13-17, 2017. IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
Join the Mandel School for two IEW signature events!
Global Perspectives from Mandel School Students (1 PD hour)
Tuesday, November 14 at 1:00pm Mandel School Noble Commons
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to bring their lunch and learn about the international experiences of students at the Mandel School. When graduate students cross borders to study, they contribute in significant ways toward the globalization of a university and, at the same time, enrich their own personal and professional development. Moderated by Dr. Francisca Richter, a panel of current Mandel School students and an alumna from various countries will share their insights from studying, living, and discovering the world of social work abroad. This event is sponsored by the Mandel School International Education Programs Office and LINK; coffee and donuts provided.
Academia in Israel: A Multicultural Perspective (1 PD hour) – International Visiting Scholar Lecture
