Mandel School to Host Racial Equity Institute (REI) Training and Workshop

The Mandel School is partnering with Cleveland Neighborhood Progress to bring the Racial Equity Institute (REI) to the School. REI is an alliance of trainers, organizers and institutional leaders from Greensboro, North Carolina,  who have devoted themselves to the work of creating racially equitable organizations and systems.

Groundwater Training is a half-day introduction to Racial Equity using stories and data to present a perspective that racism is fundamentally structural in nature.

December 13th from 1:00-5:00 pm.
Cost: $75, includes continental breakfast  

Racial Equity Workshop is a two-day long process that helps to provide talking points, historical factors and an organizational definition of racism.

December 14 and 15th from 8:30-5:00 pm
Cost: $150-The Mandel School will be subsidizing $100 for Mandel School alumni (Usual cost is $250, pleased use CWRU as your password). THERE IS LIMITED SEATING. Includes continental breakfast, lunch and snacks.
