Motivational Interviewing Equips Mental-Health Teams with Clinical Expertise

Jeremy Evenden and Scott Gerhard of the Center for Evidence-Based Practices present Motivational Interviewing (MI) training in September & October 2017 for Ohio’s Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) teams and other behavioral healthcare providers. MI is an evidence-based treatment utilized in a variety of service settings and models (e.g., ACT, IDDT, SE/IPS, Integrated primary health, housing services, residential treatment). Learn MI and help people discover and talk about their desire for personal change, like managing symptoms of mental illness; reducing the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs; and improving physical health. The Center’s MI training series is supported by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS).

All MI Events:

  • Free for Ohio ACT & IDDT teams!
  • Other Ohio providers: $60
  • Non-Ohio providers: $115
  • 5.5 CEUs
