We are pleased to announce that Lisa Damour, PhD, author of the New York Times bestseller Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions Into Adulthood and a clinical instructor of psychology at Case Western Reserve, will talk about her book on Thursday, September 29, at 12:45 to 1:45pm in Mandel Center Room 115. The program is open to the Mandel School community and offers 1 PD credit for students. It is presented by the Children, Youth, and Families MSSA specialization.
Dr. Damour is a clinical psychologist, author, teacher, speaker and consultant who directs Laurel School’s Center for Research on Girls. She writes the Adolescence column for the New York Times’ Well Family online report and is a regular contributor at CBS News.
Dr. Damour draws on years of clinical experience and the latest research to provide sound practical guidance to girls as well as to their parents, teachers, and advocates.
