Data Days CLE 2020: Call for Conference Sessions

Data Days CLE

The fourth annual Data Days CLE will be held April 7, 2020 at Case Western Reserve University's Tinkham Veale University Center. Spearheaded by the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Data Days CLE is a local conference focused on promoting the use of data in the civic and nonprofit sectors. In cultivating a greater connection between community members and data-use best practices, they can strengthen our region by sparking conversation, ideas and building capacity in the space where data, information and civic life intersect.

This year, Data Days CLE is looking for your stories: stories about ways data has been a helpful component in solving a community problem, your expertise on data practices that have been a game-changer for your civic organization, and your exciting new data tools available for public use.

University and community agencies are encouraged to submit conference session proposals. Have a full-fledged presentation? Submit a full break-out session. Want just 5-10 minutes for a quick presentation? You can submit a lightning session. Want to throw out an idea for something you think Data Days CLE should cover, but don't think it fits in the break-out or lightning space? You can submit that for their "unconference" session.

Data Days CLE will host a series of workshops following the conference to further connect their audience to additional opportunities for hands-on training with data.

The call for conference sessions closes Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.
