Rochanne Vincent

Rochanne Vincent received her Bachelor’s from Duquesne University in 2006 and has worked in the field of mental health with a focus on trauma-centered approaches for individuals and communities since 2007. Graduating with a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010, Rochanne has experience with international initiatives in her work with Mediators Beyond Borders as well as systems/organization cooperative community initiatives in the Pittsburgh area. Following her passion for trauma and neuroscience-informed services, she has been instrumental in the creation of several trauma-informed curricula that has served international and local systems. She has functioned as a therapist, consultant, trainer, and organizer for trauma-informed understanding in a variety of arenas.

Rochanne is the co-founder of Peace of Time Wellness in Pittsburgh, PA. A trauma-focused center that provides integrated therapeutic modalities and somatic services spanning from individual to community level coordination, education, and intervention. Rochanne sits on two of Pennsylvania’s Action Teams for the Office of Advocacy and Reform Trauma-Informed PA plan. Her practice is engaged in several community initiatives bridging organizations and resources to promote community well-being; including a greenspace initiative, community wellness programming, fundraising events, and serving as ‘go-to’ for mental health and wellness resources. Her research interests include shaping policy through the lens of neuroscience understanding of adverse experiences and community resiliency.
