Special opportunities are sometimes available for Case Western Reserve undergraduates to receive semester funding for sponsored research opportunities.
Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland (FRBC) and Case Western Reserve University (Spring and Summer 2022)
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University are looking for students to work on one of two FRBC projects mentored by CWRU faculty from the Department of Computer and Data Sciences. Students from a variety of disciplines, including Computer and Data Sciences, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics and others are encouraged to apply. Opportunities are available for spring and summer 2022.
- For spring 2022: Students are expected to contribute, on average, 10 hours per week for an academic year funding amount of $2,400. Semester funding can be prorated for when students begin.
- For summer 2022:Students are expected to contribute 37.5 hours per week for 10 weeks, attend information and educational seminars and present about their work. The summer stipend is $4,800.
The program especially encourages first and second year students, but also will consider third year students. Underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply. Because this project is funded by the Federal Reserve Bank, applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents.
