SOURCE works with several campus partners to provide workshops that prepare you for making and presenting your poster and/or slides.  We are grateful to each of these participating campus colleagues for sharing their time and expertise.  Please review the workshop(s) below and attend those that will help you in this important part of your research experience. 

Preparing for Virtual Intersections:

The Elevator Pitch Workshops: Presenting Your Research to Strangers

Pitches on Video: Monday, November 8th, 12:45 - 2 p.m.; Register on Campus Groups for this Virtual Session

 - This session will help student to learn how to present their research effectively while maximizing the potential of the video format.

Pitches in Person: Wednesday, November 10th, 12:45 - 2 p.m., Bingham 140; Register on Campus Groups for this In Person Session.

 - This session will help students learn to explain their complex research succinctly in face-to-face situations.

Preparing for Intersections: Improving Presentation Skills (Virtual, Poster, and PowerPoint Presentations)

Tuesday, November 16, 4 p.m.

This will be a virtual session presented by Jennifer DeSantis, Associate Director of Student Advancement, this session will provide information on how to present via video, how to prepare your PowerPoint and how to make a poster. Register and obtain Zoom link on Handshake.
