I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education. I received my my Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University in 2008. I am currently a doctoral student in Ashland University's Leadership Studies program.
Prior to coming to CWRU, I worked at Binghamton University for four years as an Assistant Director of Residential Life, where I ran Hinman College, one of the university's six residential colleges. I also worked at Kent State University as a Residence Hall Director from 2008-2012. I love, love, LOVE working in Student Affairs. I specifically enjoy delivering well-planned, well-excited, and creative services/programs to students. I highly appreciate the many opportunities I get to connect and engage with students - I learn just as much from them as they do from me!
