We welcome you to join this much needed conversation and contribute to a new meaning behind professionalism that is relevant to the workforce and students of today.
This hybrid event is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 4 from 12:30pm to 2:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom. The event can also be joined via Zoom as space in-person is limited.
"Professionalism Unpacked" consists of a panel and small group discussion for employers, students, staff, new graduates and faculty to share what is considered professional in the workforce and in the classroom today, if these ideas of professionalism are outdated, and how we can come to a common ground on what we should consider as "professional." These topics can range from appearance, to what is considered appropriate email communications, to having your picture on your resume.
