Native Clevelander Lori D. Durham attended Cleveland City Schools graduating from James Ford Rhodes Senior High School in 1983. After high school, she attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina. While at J. C. Smith University, she majored in Business Administration with a Secondary Education minor, graduating in 1987 before returning home to earn a Master of Science Degree in Elementary Education (1989) and Elementary Administration (1999).
In January 1989, Ms. Durham started working as a teacher with Cleveland City Schools. She taught school until 2000, transitioning to school administration. Ms. Durham worked as an Assistant Principal for eight (8) years and as a Principal for eight (8) years with a total of sixteen (16) years as a school administrator. She returned to the classroom in 2016 to the position as a Reading Interventionist.
Ms. Durham has been with NYSP since 2013 where she loves to work directly with the campers.
