Eligibility

All enrolled students of Case Western Reserve UniversityCleveland Institute of MusicCleveland Institute of ArtKent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine are eligible for University Counseling Services.

Counseling services are available at no cost to enrolled students but we limit our individual counseling and psychiatry services to a short-term model of care. Students with longer-term mental health and counseling needs may be referred to community resources based upon their health insurance. Depending upon the need, some of these referrals are offered at reduced cost.

Summer Service Eligibility

In the summer months, un-enrolled students planning to resume their studies in the fall semester may access services after paying a one-time summer health fee. The fee also includes healthcare appointments at Health Services. When students are enrolled in the Aetna Student Plan, the fee is automatically deducted.

Check the UHCS homepage during the spring semester for updates about summer service eligibility, or contact healthservice@case.edu.
