A Message from the VP for Student Affairs

About Lou Stark
Vice President for CWRU Student Affairs, Lou Stark

As we head toward the holiday season, we’re moving closer to a busy time of year at Case Western Reserve University. Soon, we’ll be wrapping up classes, students will be getting ready for finals and we'll be preparing for our annual winter break.

And so, moving into this Thanksgiving break, I hope you will take some time to be kind to yourself, to take a break, and to engage in those things that make you happy. I also want to express my gratitude to our students—and our entire campus community—who have made this fall such a wonderful and inspiring time at CWRU. I know I’ll be taking some extra time this Thanksgiving to reflect on our successes, and think of all we have to be grateful for.

In just a few short weeks you’ll be finishing up the semester and preparing for finals—as you work through these last several weeks, remember that there are many people on campus who are eager to help:

Thank you, Spartans, for continuing to stand together while prioritizing safety, self-care and care of others. I wish each of you a very happy Thanksgiving! I hope you enjoy the upcoming holidays, and make the most of the rest of our fall semester.

Sincerely yours,

Louis W. Stark
Vice President for Student Affairs
