International students are invited to join the Center for International Affairs for a virtual Career Preparation Etiquette Dinner.
Job interviews often include a meal with potential colleagues and many companies ask employees to take clients out for nice meals. Employers want to know their employees can be professional, even in social situations, and dining with others can be very challenging. Learning Western expectations of politeness can help international students feel more comfortable eating unfamiliar foods, and mastering dining etiquette helps make a great impression on others.
Attendees will receive live, virtual training from Etiquette Consultant Catherine Holloway, with time for discussion, questions and feedback in real time. There are limited spots available and students must RSVP on CampusGroups to receive the Zoom link.
There are two opportunities to attend this virtual event.
- Option 1: Friday, March 19, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. EST
- Option 2: Tuesday, March 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. EST
Space is limited for each event to 20 attendees, so register as soon as possible.
