Interested in learning the essentials of personal finance and enhancing your financial literacy? This April—which happens to be financial literacy month—PNC Bank offered Case Western Reserve University students a Financial Wellness Series designed to share the essential knowledge and skills you need to make sound financial decisions.

There are two more events in the series, so plan to attend!

Credit Scores and Reports

Friday, April 23, from noon to 1 p.m. EDT

Credit can have a big effect on your financial life. Understand how credit scores and reports work to help you keep your finances healthy and achieve your financial goals, such as buying a new home, leasing a car, or paying off debt.

Safeguarding Yourself: A Workshop on Identity Protection

Thursday, April 29, from noon to 1 p.m. EDT

Your identity makes up who you are. It is composed of your Personally Identifiable Information, or PII, which is data that could potentially be used to identify you. Safeguarding your PII is more important than ever. In this workshop, you’ll learn about the latest scams and how to help protect yourself from them, ways PII can be compromised, strategies to help keep your data safe and, most importantly, what you can do if your identity is compromised.
