Peer Tutors are trained to work with students on an individual and/or small-group basis. Tutors can help clarify course content and assignments, connect class notes and reading and practice problem solving.
Recruitment for new peer tutors is about to begin. If you are interested in becoming a peer tutor, you must attend one of the mandatory information sessions to learn more about the peer tutor position. These sessions provide information about the position, time commitment, training requirements, and how to apply.
Once you attend an information session, you will be eligible to submit an application. The application opens Friday, Oct. 29 and is due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19.
If you have any questions about becoming a peer tutor, contact David Paulik, assistant director for academic resources.
