BIPOC (black, Indigenous and people of color) Support Space sessions are scheduled, 30-minute, one-on-one, Zoom or in-person consultations with multicultural specialist Naomi Drakeford.
The BIPOC Support Space is helpful for students who are:
- Looking for a space to talk;
- Needing input on a mental health concern; or
- Searching for a safe outlet to discuss experiences on campus and beyond.
BIPOC Support Space will be available the following days and times throughout the fall semester (not offered on University holidays):
- Mondays, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Office of Multicultural Affairs (Sears 409)
- Thursdays, from 1 to 2 p.m. virtually (Zoom links will be sent after registration)
All sessions are private and confidential.
