Career Lab is an open, welcoming space where you can drop in for career help. You don't need an appointment. You don't even have to know exactly what you need. Just show up, stay as long as you like, ask questions and get answers!

Career Lab will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 18 beginning with virtual hours. Don’t want to make the trek across campus in the cold? Prefer to get your career advice while wearing pajamas? You’ll get the same quality career advice from your peers through virtual Career Lab hours.

Whether you’re polishing your first resume or just starting the job and internship search, Career Lab is a great place to find the answers you need. Maybe you’re planning to attend one of the upcoming virtual career fairs? Career Lab can help you prepare to impress employers.

While the most common service in Career Lab is resume reviews, additional career topics are supported through Career Lab such as:

  • Job and internship search advice
  • Finding opportunities through Handshake
  • Optimizing your LinkedIn profile
  • Preparing for career fairs or networking events

In-person Career Lab hours in Sears Library 229 are expected to resume Jan. 24. All Career Lab dates and times will also be posted in Handshake.

For more information, visit the Career Lab webpage or contact Lisa Grisez-Shullick, assistant director of student experience in Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education.
