Course Withdrawal and Pass/No Pass Deadline
Friday, April 9 is the deadline for choosing the Pass/No Pass grading option and for withdrawing from full semester courses for upperclass and transfer undergraduate students. By this deadline, you must decide to complete each of your courses for a regular evaluative grade, use the Pass/No Pass option or withdraw from the course.
Registration for the fall semester begins late-April. Consult the Classes & Enrollment tile in SIS to find your specific registration dates (enrollment appointments).
Prior to registration, check whether or not you have any holds on your account by viewing the Tasks tile in SIS. If you see that a hold exists, click the Tasks tile to learn more. Any holds that are present when registration opens will prevent you from enrolling in classes. It is important you begin working now on having any existing holds removed.
The most common holds are Registration Advising Hold and Past Due Balance:
- Remember only your faculty advisor can lift your Registration Advising Hold, so be sure to meet with your faculty advisor to review your course selections so the Registration Advising Hold can be removed.
- If you currently have a Past Due Balance hold, you should contact Student Financial Services to make arrangements for paying the balance and having the hold removed.
- You might also consider consulting with a counselor in University Financial Aid to explore available options for assistance with resolving the balance on your account.
