Ohio has a primary/special election on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022. Review this important information if you plan to vote in Ohio.

Absentee Ballot (Vote-by-Mail) Requests

  • The deadline to request an absentee (vote-by-mail) ballot is Saturday, July 30 at noon and completed absentee ballots must be postmarked by Aug. 1.
  • Learn how to request an absentee ballot.
  • If you're interested in voting on candidate races in this Primary election, be sure to select the "Primary Election" box as well as a political party on your absentee ballot application. If you do not wish to affiliate with a party, you will receive an issues-only ballot for this election.
