Join the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and #MeToo CWRU in honoring April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The first event of the month, Shine a Light on Sexual Assault, is highlighting sexual assault in higher education, promoting community responsibility, and demonstrating that we do heal.
Attend the Shine a Light on Sexual Assault event Friday, March 31, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
From 7 to 7:45 p.m., guests are encouraged to visit the tables hosted by student organizations and CWRU department collaborators, pick up Sexual Assault Awareness swag items, and participate in activities to honor survivors. From 7:45 to 9:30 p.m., student dance groups will perform and student speakers will share spoken-word poems, open letters, and other messages about healing from sexual assault or supporting a loved one.
