Date Released: 17 March 2016
The health and wellness of our students is one of our top priorities as a caring campus community. We need input and expertise from many valued campus partners to be successful at creating this system of support & connectedness on campus.
As part of the initiatives within our SAMHSA Suicide Prevention Grant (awarded to Student Affairs beginning Oct 1 2015), we have created a taskforce named ConnectCWRU. This taskforce will meet quarterly to evaluate and update our suicide prevention efforts. Its “kickoff meeting” was February 26 2016.
Sara Lee, MD and Nell Davidson, MD will present a summary of our first campus assessment which demonstrated many successful programs and initiatives. We received great feedback from the February 26th meeting and would like to solicit additional feedback from campus partners.
Join us for this discussion on Thursday, March 17th from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the Herrick Room, which is on the ground floor of the Allen building (at the corner of Adelbert and Euclid).
Pizza lunch and sodas will be provided at this session. To help us estimate the amount to order, please let us know if you plan to attend this session by replying to this email or sending a message to ucite@case.edu.
