Date Released: 10 June 2016
While many individuals in higher education speak of the value of critical thinking, faculty often feel intense time pressures or do not have sufficient strategies to seamlessly integrate critical thinking into instruction.
During this UCITE event, Matthew Garrett (Music Education) will provide research-based context for transfer as critical thinking, share learning strategies through which students can develop the cognitive behavior of transfer, and identify assessment tools that can appropriately measure the development of this critical thinking skill in university learning environments.
Join us for that session on Friday June 10th, 2016 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the Herrick Room, which is on the ground floor of the Allen building (at the corner of Adelbert and Euclid). Pizza lunch and sodas will be provided at this session.
To help us estimate the amount to order, please let us know if you plan to attend this session by replying to this email or sending a message to ucite@case.edu.
