On May 20, more than 250 graduating seniors were recognized for their academic achievements at the annual senior academic awards assembly.
Faculty and staff from each of the University’s colleges, as well as staff members from several offices and departments, were on hand to present departmental and collegiate awards. Departmental awards are based on achievement in specific academic disciplines. Collegiate and some departmental awards are based on leadership, scholarship, or service or a combination of all three.
Two of the evening's biggest awards were The Case Alumni Association Prize for Achievement, which went to the seniors with the best academic records in the Case School of Engineering, and The John Schoff Millis Award, which went to the seniors with the best academic records in the College of Arts and Sciences. Fifteen students were awarded The Case Alumni Association Prize for Achievement, and 11 were awarded The John Schoff Millis Award.
