Process

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌The first step: In December 2015, an Executive IT Support Team, staffed by members of the former Student Affairs IT Operations Group, was created to provide services for business continuity and support of the executives in Adelbert Hall, including the President’s Office and Cabinet.

The Executive IT Support Team is currently assessing and optimizing the university’s administrative units, commonly referred to as “UGEN.” The effort will then shift to the individual Schools and College starting with the School of Law. Already, best practices are surfacing that may help outline the overall implementation plan.

The implementation will be executed in a deliberative, thoughtful and consultative manner. Stakeholders from across the university will be involved throughout the process, and feedback from IT support staff, as well as the campus community, will be essential to a successful transition.
