Get Technology Support to Prepare For Remote Instruction

[U]Tech is offering support sessions for faculty, students and staff to get their technology questions answered with the shift to remote instruction in January. Nearly two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, CWRU faculty, students and staff have a great deal of experience with the tools and technologies available to teach and learn, but these sessions will make sure that all questions and concerns are addressed.

Canvas drop-in hours will be held:

  • Thursday, Jan. 6 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 10 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Jan. 13 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

During these drop-in hours, individuals can meet with a Teaching and Learning Technologies team member to have their questions answered. No appointment is necessary.

Zoom drop-in hours will be held:

  • Thursday, Jan. 6 from 10 to 11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 11 from 2 to 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, Jan. 13 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

During these times, Pam Hlavin will answer Zoom questions. No appointment is needed.

Faculty members also can get one-on-one help with questions about Canvas, Echo360 and Zoom with Blair Carmichael, instructional technologist, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.
