Tips For Cybersecurity Preparedness Before Presidential Debate

In preparation for next week’s presidential debate, [U]Tech’s Information Security Office recommends an increased awareness of cybersecurity threats, particularly phishing emails.

In addition to messages requesting your Network ID or password, individuals should pay close attention to unsolicited emails with attachments that require a password or unzipping; those may be an attempt to spread malware. If you receive a suspicious email, forward it to help@case.edu.

More information about phishing is available through [U]Tech and the SANS Institute.
