Active Collaboration Room

The goal of the Active Collaboration Room (ACR) is to reduce the physical and psychological barriers encountered by geographically distant teams that must collaborate on projects and ideas. The room's design seeks to encourage highly interactive, highly productive 'working session'-style meetings by simulating face-to-face communication in a telepresence environment. The structured room layout and specially designed, ergonomic furniture enable cameras to capture both sitting and standing participants. Remote users can participate visually using other telepresence rooms, desktop webcams and other videoconferencing systems. Interactive whiteboards enable both in-person and remote participants to see, share and modify content.

Faculty, staff and students can reserve the room through the KSL Room Request form. Specify KSL 215 in the 'Specific Requirements' field.
