Software Center Updates Available

The [U]Tech Software Center has upgraded the following titles:

  • Minitab – Annual license updated with an expiration date of July 31, 2018; Version upgraded to Minitab 18. Minitab is available for Windows operating systems only. For more information, please visit http://www.minitab.com/en-us/products/minitab/whats-new.
  • Minitab Express - Annual license updated with an expiration date of July 31, 2018. Minitab Express is available for both Windows and Mac operating systems. For more information, please visit https://www.minitab.com/en-us/products/express.
  • Companion by Minitab (formerly Quality Companion) - Annual license updated with an expiration date of July 31, 2018. Companion by Minitab is available for Windows operating systems only. For more information, please visit https://www.minitab.com/en-us/products/companion.

These titles are available to all faculty, staff and students at no additional charge.

In addition, the [U]Tech Software Center has updated the annual license for SAS 9.4 TS1M3 with an expiration date of August 15, 2018. SAS is available for download to all faculty and staff using a valid speedtype account for $109.00 per license. Media is available to faculty and staff for an additional $50.00. Also, to avoid reinstalling the software, a renewal option is available for faculty and staff. SAS is available to students at no additional charge. Please note the following SAS license restrictions:
SAS is a Teaching and Research License and is subject to the terms of this agreement. The software may be used by faculty, staff and students only in conjunction with classroom instruction and coursework directly related to CWRU's post-secondary degree requirements, including the formulation of theses and dissertations and CWRU's noncommercial research activities (academic research). Use of SAS Teaching and Research licenses for institutional/administrative research is prohibited.
