Customer Service & Support

CSS is the face forward of ITS. They handle most of the customer interaction and help all the members of the Case community get the most out of the abundant technology resources available to them.

  • The ITS Help Desk (368-HELP) is the first point of contact for any problems you may be having. They can either solve your problem or direct you to the appropriate person.
  • Technical Support provides on-site support for PC, Mac, and Unix systems. They even have a Hardware Support Specialist here from dell to help you with any hardware problems for systems still under warranty. Appointments with Technical Support can made through the Help Desk
Enterprise Application Services

Enterprise Applications provides computer application support of institutional based systems for academic and administrative areas. These areas include traditional areas such as Human Resources, Financials, and Student Services, as well as non-traditional areas such as email, calendaring, and software distribution. Support includes the full life cycle of application development and system support.

Instructional Technology & Academic Computing

In coordination with faculty, students, and administration, Instructional Technology and Academic Computing (ITAC) assists the development of emerging technologies and supports current technologies that enhances teaching and learning at Case. Through technology support and professional development, ITAC supports the University community in its endeavor to experience, explore, collaborate and extend learning beyond its traditional bounds.

  • MediaVision works with streaming media, video conferencing, and digital imaging.
  • In the New Media Studio digital video, virtual reality, hand held computers, and 3D photography are everyday tools for pushing the forward bounds of educational technology.
  • The Student Technology Consultant program sends specially trained students out to help faculty with their computing needs such as multi-media, web sites, video editing, and on-site application support.
Project Management Office

The goal of the PMO is to provide tools, methodologies, and resources to help University project managers become more successful, and to streamline and automate many of the management tasks.

Strategic Technology Alliance

The Strategic Technology Alliance is a partnership among non-profit and government organizations who share a common vision of the benefits to Cleveland from full participation in the digital 21st century.  Our goal is the delivery of advanced information technology capabilities to the organizations and residents of Greater Cleveland in order to address community needs for education, job training, health care, cultural enrichment, research, economic development and empowerment, and civic participation.

Technology Infrastructure Services

A wired and wireless network second to none requires its fair share of support and TIS is there to support it. They also manage the ITS webservers and backup systems.
