The Sleep Great Presentation: Reap the Benefits of Being Well Rested

We know that sleep is important, yet many of us struggle to get enough quality sleep each night. Learn more in this presentation delivered by Dennis Auckley, MD, Director of MetroHealth's Center for Sleep Medicine and Professor in the School of Medicine at CWRU. In this presentation, Dr. Auckley will share the science behind sleep, how a lack of sleep impacts us at work and school, and provide some basic sleep hygiene information to help improve your sleep. Students, faculty and staff are all welcome to attend this second collaborative University Wellness event.  A light lunch will be served. Reservations are not required.

The Sleep Great Challenge

This presentation is offered in conjunction with the four week Sleep Great Challenge which will begin on Monday, April 9th.  Each week, participants will practice two new healthy sleep practices. Weekly raffle prizes will be shared with ten randomly chosen participants that send in their log. Participants that send in logs each of the four weeks will be entered into a raffle prize drawing for five grand prizes.  If you are a student, faculty or staff member and feel the need for better sleep, consider registering for this helpful program now.
