This award is given annually to a faculty member teaching one or more Academic Inquiry Seminars. The award will recognize instructors who use innovative approaches, ideas, and/or methods in the teaching of writing for the purpose of enhancing the experience of first-year writers at CWRU. Faculty will be invited to apply or nominate other teachers for this award. Awardees receive a cash prize and an invitation to facilitate a faculty workshop on their particular innovative teaching to share with fellow instructors.
